How do I go about writing a Blank verse poem?

I have to write 10 poems for my tenth grade English class and one of which has to be blank verse but I have no clue how to write it and nowhere online that is not blocked my my school's monitoring system can tell me can you help? I learn best by example and I guarantee you that I won't just plagiarize your examples. If so then you have the right to email me and say anything you want to me. Blank verse, as I'm sure you know, is poetry that uses regular meter, but not rhyme -- usually unrhymed iambic pentameter.

The most famous examples of blank verse in English literature can be found in Shakespeare's plays. His characters sometimes speak in prose, and sometimes in rhymed verse, but many of the greatest passages in his plays are in blank verse. Look up some famous Shakespeare speeches -- Hamlet's soliloquies, Richard III's "Now is the winter of our discontent" speech, Romeo's "But soft, what light through yonder window breaks," Portia's "The quality of mercy is not strained" -- the list goes on and on. If you read some passages from Shakespeare aloud, that might help you get a feel for the blank verse.

For examples of blank verse in more modern English, you can look at the works of Robert Frost. "The Death of the Hired Man" and "Mending Wall" are two famous poems in which Frost uses blank verse. Again, reading the poems aloud will help you learn by example.
