What is something easy and creative/cute I can make a book mark out of

I read 24/7, and I bought a bookmark w/ a charm on it, but it slides out easily. So I thought, hmm I should make one! Any suggestions?

probably the easiest and cheapest way is with strips of felt = you can do anything with felt - sew on it - glue it - cut in shapes - paint it, add glitter, beads, charms, lacing, ribbon, lace, embroidery = felt is a do all material = and your creativity is the only thing holding you back.

also a nice book mark i have is pressed flowers - in a long rectangle of clear plastic that has been put through a laminating machine. it has 4 leaf clovers. and has green ribbons hanging from it through small punched holes at the bottom.

another good idea is to put an address sticker on the back of any book mark you use - if you should ever leave the book somewhere - the finder would be able to contact you for a return.
