Las Vegas was definitely an interesting show which lasts until February 2008, when it finally came to an end. The show gave a complete view of the entertainment and fun in the rich casinos and at the same time satisfying the enthusiastic tourists, con artists of all kinds and the heist planning going at the background.
The highpoint of the show were the exquisite locations used for the shoot. The cast of the show was full of gorgeous and glamorous characters like Samantha (played by General Hospital’s Vanessa Marcil) and the head of operations Danny. The strongest of character, known as Ed Tiller, was a tough-as-nails owner, played by James Caan, though his character was replaced by Tom Stellar in the 5th season. While Danny struggled to prove that he could handle Ed’s operations, he had a secret affair with his daughter.
This was the winning secret of the show which made it a big success among the viewers. The show went on with viewers raising questions on all the strange happenings of a typical casino game, like how did the diamonds got stolen?, how did the person win the game? Who had forged the poker chips? Thus the show went on in an unexpected and interesting way. It even invited characters from “Crossing Jordon”.
The show basically showed all the top casino hotels of Las Vegas and gave an outlook on how they functioned from the inside. With James Caan leading both the show as well as the hotel it was great to watch how the show had glided along with less effort from the members of the cast.
The numerous stories that came with every episode just took along the series so well. The script was penned so beautifully and with each and every show it was getting better as a whole lot of scenes and plots were introduced and every character was being etched with the story so nicely. By choosing to shoot the show in “The Monceito”, the crew made a wise choice as that gave way to bring in a lot of twists and turns in the story. Baywatch actress, Nikki Cox joined the cast for four seasons and big celebrities like Paris Hilton, snoop Dogg made guest appearances.
The show has some enthralling scenes where it presents even the activities of the people in the most confidential chambers of the hotel. Incredibly, it was even more likely to immediately look for the recording tracking out the exact hint at the exact time (about 12 minutes before the show was about to close).
The entire factual thing about the “viva Los Vegas” was brought to limelight by the show and it is no way fair to quote any setbacks for the show. The show kept up to the expectation that the opening song-the remixed Elvis generated. It carried a lot of actions as said and had very minimal dreary dialogues.
